Over the past few years, I have intentionally slowed down during the winter months to align with the natural rhythm of the seasons. In Lenni-Lenape land (northeastern United States), winter brings cold and a time for internal warmth. As spring emerges, I notice an increase in energy. This season, I have several upcoming opportunities to connect both in person and virtually with communities near and far.

Through restorative yoga shapes and journaling, we’ll explore what this transition means and how it manifests in daily life. This practice is open to all and designed to support rest, reflection, and a deeper connection to personal intentions. No prior experience is needed—just a comfortable space and something to write with.

Grounding & Connection: A Yoga Therapy Group for Stress Relief and Empowerment

The current socio-political climate has left many feeling overwhelmed, anxious, and uncertain about the future. Policy changes, systemic injustices, and economic shifts continue to impact communities and their allies, with 7 out of 10 adults citing the future of the nation as a significant source of stress (American Psychological Association, 2024).
Yoga has long served as a tool for resilience, helping individuals cultivate strength, emotional regulation, and collective empowerment. This five-week yoga therapy group provides structured, accessible practices designed to support stress reduction while equipping participants with tools to navigate and challenge systemic inequities. Through guided movement, breathwork, meditation, and reflective practices, this program fosters grounding, connection, and empowerment.

Mindful Rest

Join this 30-minute Mindful Rest session from wherever you are—your home, office, or any space where you can relax. No props are needed, and the practice includes gentle yoga postures and breathing techniques to support relaxation. Whether you choose to follow the guided practice or simply lie down in stillness, this session is adaptable to your needs. Open to all, regardless of yoga or meditation experience. Feel free to drop in at any time.

Seasonal Reflection: A Yin Yoga & Journaling Workshop

This 90-minute workshop provides space to pause, breathe, and engage in self-reflection as we transition into spring. Through yin yoga, participants will settle into supported postures designed to encourage relaxation, introspection, and ease.

Building Your Sun Salutation: A Yoga Workshop on Movement & Rest
📅 Saturday, May 3 | 9:30 – 11 AM EST
📍 Hunterdon Art Museum, Clinton, NJ
This 90-minute session combines physical movement and deep relaxation through Sun Salutations and Yoga Nidra. Participants will be guided through the fundamentals of a Sun Salutation (Surya Namaskar), learning the sequence step by step while exploring breath awareness and variations.
✔ Understand the structure of a Sun Salutation and how to modify it.
✔ Practice Yoga Nidra to support deep rest and integration.
✔ Develop tools for incorporating movement and stillness into daily life.
